Zen and the Art of Bank Robbing, by John Erik Ege

An allegorical tale of a counselor slash guru who walks with two people as they seek to change their lives. Mixed in the metaphor are recommended readings and movie homework for those wanting something more in depth than just experiencing a story, but the author suggest all you need is a story to open pathways in your brain. One only needs to read or hear the words “Wizard of Oz” or “Star Wars” to realize tremendous amounts of information has been transmitted, without a lot of exertion. The caveat being, you know the stories. There is no ‘Secret,’ you already have all the tools for enlightenment, you just have to unlock and open the door. The step of crossing over is up to you.
