This book is about the origins of slavery, the many countries that participated, and a few things I personally experienced. Author Bio: I was the second child born to Clarence and Vera Wallace of Evergreen Alabama. I am the daughter of a Sharecropper, Lumber Jack and Pipe fitter, and granddaughter of a slave, Wilson Wallace. I attended Little Zion Country School at the age of six. I started my first year of school in the second grade. My family later migrated to Omaha Nebraska. After I turned sixteen, I returned to my home state where I married Abraham Lincoln Salter Sr. We separated when I was 21 years old and divorced at 29. I attended O. I. C in preparation for my GED which I obtained at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluff, Iowa. This allowed me to attend nursing school at Fort Omaha. After my move to Pomona California, I was able to graduate and acquire my LVN license in 1979. I also attended business College at Mt. SAC in Walnut California, at the age of 63 to become a Medical Assistant. Out of frustration and disappointment of looking for a job that seemed to elude me, I started writing poetry again. I’m a mother of four, grandmother of five and great grandmother of ten. I’m a member of Way of Faith Ministry in the Springdale Community. Pastor Dannie Brayboy is overseer. Elder Calvin Card is Pastor. Associate Ministers are Pastor Mary Card and Dr. Ernest Campbell. I belonged to a singing group where Deacon Jason Michael Cottrell is the manager and bass player. I am keyboard player, lead singer and back ground singer. Nichol James is a lead and background singer, and her son Marvin plays drums. I also write Gospel lyrics and have sixteen songs in the Library of Congress. I am also Evangelist, by the grace of God. keywords: Slavery, Abolishment, Degradation, Resentment, Arrogance, Hunger, Hateful, Deplorable, Pitiful
